After a washed out Friday at the 2009 US Open tennis tournament, Rafael Nadal resumed his match with Fernando Gonzalez. After losing the second set tie break, all of the fight went out of Fernando. He went down meekly 6-0 in the third and final set. This was good news for Nadal who was suffering from a stomach injury when rain postponed their match on Thursday. Nadal should not have much trouble with the hot Juan Martin del Potro. The other men’s semifinal pits Novak Djokovic against world number 1 Roger Federer. Look for an eventual Federer and Nadal final. It does not look like Roger will suffer a post Wimbledon let down and will win his sixth consecutive U.S. Open title.
